Hello! 

My name is Melissa and I am the Founder and Owner of

Cadaver Books Australia - Est. 2021

From an early age I had a fascination with reading about true crime. Growing up in a sleepy beach side suburb in Adelaide, South Australia, there was no shortage of weird, unexplained, and horrific crimes to read about. I spent the majority of my late teens and 20's living in Central Australia, and the vast Australian Outback came with its own mysteries, many remaining unsolved to this day.

Delving into the pages of Australia's true crime stories can provide its own escape for some, whilst we try to comprehend the feelings, actions, and decisions of both victim and perpetrator, judge and jury. 

 

Come with me on a journey of good old paper and print. Grab a hot cuppa. Lets get lost for a while in the intrigue of true crime books (Aussie of course!)

We offer a large selection of pre-loved, hard to find, and out of print books, covering all avenues of Australian true crime throughout the ages.

​

The majority of books for sale are secondhand or some years old and may have been read by someone else, therefore showing wear and previous use.

​

We expect that you will find our books in great condition, and we endeavour to specify on individual listings any noticeable marks, writing, stains etc if required.
